We free climbed a the old aid route Hangikjöt (hanging sheep ham) in Fjallastakkanöf.
A 90M route up to 7a+ difficulty’s and moving pillars/rocks.
For free climbing a difficult start, climb a small slap no pro on to the “dancing” pillar. On top of this 20 M pillar we placed a 10mm bolt for security (moving pillars are scary..).
After that a other free standig pillaar on to a finger crack system to the next belay with loads of 8mm aid bolts (they used this spot to test a portaledge back in de days).
Than it’s a big crack with some loose rock and old 8mm bolts to the next belay 2 8mm bolts.
The finish is a nice roof with big jugs a traverse and the last 5m through very loose/bad rock to the top anker ( we placed a other 10mm bolt backup with slings).
