Competition pick for Rock Ice A-speed made from hardox 450.
Range of use – artificial wall, pure drytooling routes, competitions
pick of 4mm thickness full length. First arc shape tooth is 30 mm long. The angle is more aggressive than the mixed pick angle (1.5 degrees).
The pick has evolved over several years of experience with the UIAA World Climbing Cup routes and very demanding drytooling routes. Arched pick provides precision on both edge and pocket holds and reduces the possibility of slipping out while moving the blade on the hold. Specially designed full arch allows you to holds side ways, low steinpulles, and at the same time doesn’t make it difficult to remove the pick.
It will bend before it brakes but is still durable and can be tuned with a hand file.
