A LRS anchor pre tensioning APT system manufactured from 3D-printed TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is designed to stabilize a climbing anchor by maintaining constant tension on the rope so no cross loads will be applied on the carabiners.

Works well with our KH300 captive eye carabiner this safes weight of steel karabiners and quick links.

The captive karabiner eye is also a redundancy when the bottom anchor comes out it will not go through the small eye.

The system functions by introducing a controlled pre-tension (preload) in the anchor assembly. By tensioning the rope and sliding the APT on the rope.It can be operated with one hand.

Due to the elastic properties of TPU, the printed component acts as a flexible yet durable friction element, capable of absorbing and redistributing forces. When installed, it ensures that the anchor remains firmly seated and prevents unwanted movement or rotation.

Reduces peak stress concentrations (cross loads).
