These are designed to protect the hands with speed ice climbing.
Research ahs shown that flexible gloves are not up to the task of protecting your hands.
The combination of Cabon with Kevlar give superb protection.
The ergonomic design is made to have a full range of motion for your hands even with thick gloves.
These are hand made prototypes so the have cosmetic imperfections.
To make these there was over a year of development besides of 20 years of speed ice climbing competition experience.
Based on multiple CAD files 3d printers have been tested and a mould was made.
Multiple layers of carbon and kevlar give a structural lightweight base infused with Epoxy.
The price is based on pure cost of the hand guards (mould carbon kevlar epoxy vacuum materials)
Machine cost and development time are one me.
Availability is limited
mounting depends on the tool.
A removable pick (ice rock Ptyrex ) makes it easy, other tools will need a slot cut (see pictures)
